These DLT-IV THXKD02 tapes by Quantum have a capacity of 40 GB native and 80 GB compressed. With a transfer rate of 6 MB/s native, the THXKD02 DLT-IV tapes have a tape of length 1828 feet. The Quantum THXKD02 DLT-IV tapes use Metal Particle technology and are rated at 1,000,000 passes and have an estimated archival life of greater than 30 years. These specifications are for the DLT 8000 tape drive.
