These DLT-IV THXKD02 tapes by Quantum have a capacity of 40 GB native and 80 GB compressed. With a transfer rate of 6 MB/s native, the THXKD02 DLT-IV tapes have a tape of length 1828 feet. The Quantum THXKD02 DLT-IV tapes use Metal Particle technology and are rated at 1,000,000 passes and have an estimated archival life of greater than 30 years. These specifications are for the DLT 8000 tape drive. However, the Quantum THXKD02 is also compatible with DLT 4000, DLT 7000 and the DLT1/VS80 tape drives (with varying specifications depending on the format used). These THXKD02 DLT-IV tape products usually have a dark brown cartridge. |
