SLR50 tape cartridges were released in 1997. Also known as MLR3 SLR 50 tape cartridges were the last of their kind in QIC (Quarter Inch Tape) format. With a capacity of 25 GB and a transfer rate of 2000 KB/s, SLR 50 tape cartridges had a tape length of 462m. These tape cartridges are read/write compatible with the SLR50 (MLR3), SLR 60, SLR 75, SLR 100 and SLR 140 tape drives. Tape 4 Backup offers SLR 50 tape cartridges by IBM, Tandberg and Imation.
