Sony AIT5 SDX5-400C tapes storage capacity of up to 1040GB compressed data (400GB native) and data transfer speed 24MB/sec. Sony SDX5-400C AIT5 tape based on AME III technology (Advanced Metal Evaporated) and quick access unique Remote Memory –In-Cassette (R-MIC) incorporated into the cartridge. Sony AIT5 SDX5-400C tape features in Write-Once Read-Many (WORM) format to protect valuable data against accidental erasure. AIT-5 SDX5-400C is backward compatible with AIT 4, AIT-3 and 3ex.
