With a transfer rate of 36 MB/s, SDLT II has a tape length of 630m. The archival life of SDLT 2 tapes is 30 years given the correct conditions or 1000000 passes. Its interfaces include Ultra 160 SCSI SE and LVD and features DLTSage.
