Ranging from 512 MB up to 8 GB in capacity, SanDisk provides some of the most advanced products in SD technology being one of the developers of the technology itself. The Extreme edition and SDHC cards are not compatible with some of the older SD compatible products but offer faster transfer rates and higher capacities. The SanDisk Gaming cards are compatible with the Nintendo Wii so you would probably need it if you plan on using the Wii. These cards are most often used for digital cameras, mobile phones and PDAs but there are many other accessories which are SD compatible including music players, etc.
