The Sony QGD170-ME is one of Sony’s 8mm 170 meter length tape that uses AME (Advance Metal Evaporated) technology to realize the maximum recording performance and best output available. This 8mm tape cartridge also uses High-Density alloy metal particles that results in fewer errors and better archival stability.
