Q1999A, HP 100/200GB AIT-3 Backup Tape (New Retail Pack)

The HP Q1999A is an AIT-3 tape by HP that has a capacity of 100 GB (uncompressed) and 200 GB (compressed) on a tape of length 230 meters. This AIT-3 tape is compatible with AIT-3 drives and backwards compatible with AIT-2 drives. The HP AIT-3 Q1999A has a tape of width 8mm and features a 64K MIC (Memory In Cassette) which enables users to quickly locate and access the file they wish for thus saving a lot of time. The Q1999A uses an Aramid base material and AME (Advanced Magnetic Material) which was developed to deliver the durability and capacity required for high-performance tape drives.
