The Quantum MRS2MQN01 is fully compatible with the DLT 600 line of tape drives in both read/write modes and is also compatible with DLT 220 and DLT 320 tape drives in read mode. One of the most important features of the MRS2MQN01 SDLT II tape is obviously its capacity; it has a native 300 GB and a compressed 600 GB capacity. Another key feature of the MRS2MQN01 is its transfer rate; 36 MB/s native and 72 MB/s compressed, easily matching most modern hard disk drives in that context. The tape formulation used in the Quantum MRS2MQN01 is AMP (Advanced Metal Formulation). The MRS2MQN01 tape cartridge is rated at 1,000,000 passes and 30 years of archival storage.
