Key Features for Sony LTO-2 Data Cartridge 200/400 GB LTX200G
The Sony LTO-2 Ultrium LTX200G tape can store 200 GB worth of native data and 400 GB compressed data. The Sony LTX200G can also transfer data at a 20 MB/s native and 40 MB/s compressed rate. Like all other LTO tape cartridges, the Sony LTX200G LTO-2 Ultrium tape also has the cartridge memory of 4 kB that allows users faster access to information on the tape. The LTX200G LTO-2 Ultrium tape also has a unique Sony Servo-Writer that minimizes critical tracking errors and thus dramatically improves data writing and reading accuracy. The Sony LTX200G is compatible with all LTO-2, LTO-3 and LTO-3 W.O.R.M tape drives and autoloaders. It is however not compatible with LTO-1 tape drives.
