Tape 4 Backup offers cleaning tapes for DLT 2000, DLT 2000XT, DLT 4000, DLT 7000, DLT 8000 and with DLT 1 and DLT VS80 tape drives. In terms of tape media, we provide cleaning tapes for use with DLT III, DLT and DLT IV tapes. Use DLT cleaning tapes as necessary or when the Use Cleaning Tape lamp of the drive is lit, or when a cleaning message appears during the use of backup software. The use of cleaning tapes frequently is not necessary as most DLT drives feature a self-cleaning mechanism.
