The TDK D2407LTO4 is an LTO-4 tape cartridge as is evident from the part number. The cartridge shell of the D2407LTO4 is blue-green in color and the storage capacity is 800 GB native and 1.6 TB compressed. The transfer rate for the D2407LTO4 is 120 MB/s uncompressed and 240 MB/s compressed. As in all LTO-4 tape cartridges, the D2407LTO4 also features 256-bit encryption which ensures that your data is well protected. The D2407LTO4 is compatible only with LTO-4 tape drives and auto-loaders. It is not compatible with LTO-1, LTO-2 or LTO-3 tape drives. The D2407LTO4 employs Super Finavinx, a tape coating formulation that has proven long term durability in real world applications.
