This TDK D2404-100 is an LTO 1 Ultrium tape. The TDK LTO-1 Ultrium D2404 tape has a capacity of 100 GB native and 200 GB compressed. Transfer rates for the LTO-1 Ultrium D2404 tape range from 20 MB/s native to 40 MB/s compressed. The specially developed Super Finavinx metal particle used in the D2404 provides optimum data integrity. The cartridge of the TDK D2404 is specially designed to be shock resistant. Lastly, the TDK LTO-1 Ultrium tape drive features a 4kB LTO-CM (Linear Tape Open – Cartridge Memory) for fast data access. This LTO tape is compatible with LTO-1 and LTO-2 tape drives and autoloaders in both read and write mode. It is also compatible with LTO-3 tape drives and autoloaders in read mode.
