The BD-RE25 is a Blu-Ray Disc (BD) by TDK, a pioneer in storage media technology. TDK is one of the oldest players in the storage media industry having started producing audio tapes as early as 1952. TDK were also one of the original developers of the Blu-ray disc. The BD-RE25 is a 25 GB disc that has a transfer rate of 72 GB. As a Write-only disc data can only be written once on to the BD-R25 and cannot be removed or changed. Blu-ray discs such as the BD-RE25 are an excellent media for storage of HD (High Definition) content.
