This Imation 41089 LTO-1 Ultrium tape has a storage capacity of 100 GB native and 200 GB compressed. With transfer rates of 20 MB/s native and 40 MB/s compressed, not only are Imation 41089 Ultrium tapes ideal for large capacity storage but the high transfer rate also allows for quick file access. With the addition of the LTO-CM (Linear Tape Open – Cartridge Memory) chip, an external reader that allows immediate access to data without inserting the cartridge into the drive, Imation’s LTO-1 Ultrium 41089 tape cartridge is excellent for processes that require quick searching and file access. Imation’s patented three spool design delivers improved tape handling so that the tape has better tracking and hence fewer errors. The Imation BlackWatch 41089 LTO-1 Ultrium tape also has improved cartridge strength through the patented corner snap feature.
