The Imation 26592 is an LTO-4 tape cartridge that has a 800 GB native capacity and a 1.6 TB compressed capacity. You can achieve transfer rates of up to 120 MB/s native and 240 MB/s compressed whilst using the Imation 26592 tape media. Like all LTO tapes the Imation 26592 also feature LTO-CM (Linear Tape Open - Cartridge Memory) which allows storage of cartridge usage information, past errors, etc. This information about your Imation 26592 tape can be viewed using an LTO-CM reader. The Imation 26592 comes with a case and due to Imation's patented snap edge technology is far more reliable than tapes with conventional shells.
