With a 12 GB native capacity and a 24 GB compressed capacity, the 200025 is an extremely reliable tape mainly due to the patented ceramic coating process developed by Maxell that reduces wear and tear on the metal particle part of the tape. Thus the 200025 can last for a minimum of 2000 head passes or for up to 30 years in archival storage.
