The Maxell 183900 is one of Maxell’s latest LTO tape media products. The 183900 is an LTO-3 tape that has a 400 GB native and 800 GB compressed capacity. Thanks to Maxell’s patented ceramic coated metal particle process, the 183900 can achieve prodigious reliability and theoretically should last for more than 30 years in archival storage. The Maxell 183900 can also endure up to 1,000,000 head passes. The LTO-3 183900 has a grey-blue container and is compatible with LTO-3 and LTO-4 tape drives.
