183850, Maxell 200GB/400GB LTO-2 Backup Tape (Retail Packaging)

Maxell LTO-2 183850 tape cartridges have a capacity of 200 GB native and 400 GB compressed. The transfer rate for Maxell LTO-2 Ultrium 183850 tapes can reach up to 40 MB/s native and 80 MB/s compressed. The LTO-2 Ultrium cartridge has a tape of length 609 meters and uses PRML recording (Partial Response Maximum Likelihood) technique. The cartridge is purple in color and the durability of the tape is rated at 30 years of archival storage and at least 1,000,000 head passes. Also the tape formulation is Maxell’s patented ceramic coated metal particle. The Maxell 183850 LTO-2 Ultrium is compatible with LTO-2, LTO-3 and LTO-3 WORM tape drives and autoloaders.
