These Maxell LTO-1 Ultrium tape by Maxell have a capacity of 100 GB native and 200 GB compressed data. The Maxell 183800 also has a transfer rate of up to 20 MB/s (native) and 40 MB/s (compressed). LTO tapes also feature the LTO-CM (Cartridge Memory) which allows them store information regarding the files on the tape so that users can quickly access required or relevant files. The 183800 also features the ceramic coated metal particle tape technology patented by Maxell that ensures up to 1,000,000 passes. Not only do you get a huge capacity (100 GB native), the 183800 also has extremely fast transfer rates (20 MB/s native) and quick file access (LTO-CM).
