The Maxell 183710 is a cleaning cartridge for use with SDLT tape drives. More specifically the Maxell 183710 is fully compatible with SDLT 220 and SDLT 320 tape drives and auto-loaders. It is key to note that the 183710 SDLT cleaning cartridge is NOT compatible with DLT tape drives like the DLT 4000, DLT 7000, etc. The Maxell 183710 can be used for up to 20 cleanings. The Maxell 183710 is designed specifically for SDLT tape drives and therefore should (with proper usage) prolong the life of your tape drive.
