The Imation 17204 is a DAT72 or a DDS-5 tape. The 17204 has a capacity of 36 GB native and 72 GB compressed capacity. The Imation 17204 has an Aramid base and has an MP++++ (Metal Particle ++++) tape formulation. With a tape of length 170 meters, the Imation 17204 is only compatible with DAT72 tape drives.
