The Sun 003-4391-01 is an LTO-4 Ultrium tape that has a capacity of 800 GB native and 1.6 TB (that is 1600 GB) compressed data on a tape of length 820 meters. Like all LTO tapes the Sun 003-4391-01 has an LTO-CM (Linear Tape Open – Cartridge Memory) however as it is an LTO-4 Ultrium tape it has an 8 KB cartridge memory. The transfer rate for the 003-4391-01 is 120 MB/s native and 240 MB/s compressed. This Sun LTO-4 003-4391-01 tape is only compatible with LTO-4 tape drives and auto-loaders. It is not compatible with LTO-3, LTO-2 or LTO-1 tape drives and auto-libraries.
