The LTXCL is a UCC (Universal Cleaning Cartridge) for LTO tape drives. Therefore the Sony LTXCL is compatible with all LTO tape drives and autoloaders (LTO-1, LTO-2, LTO-3 and LTO-4 tape drives and auto-libraries). Compatibility is best ensured by upgrading your drive's firmware or installing UCC compatible firmware. Although the official site says that the maximum number of cleanings that you can get out of this cleaning cartridge is 50, however the actual number of cleanings is drive dependent.
